Dear Dr. Heller,
Is there an explanation for why in a romantic relationship [long
term] a person with BPD one week seems madly in love and for no apparent
reason seems to want to push their loved one away? How can I deal with
the craziness of it?
ANSWER:
The opposite of love in relationships is fear. When she’s experiencing fear - real or imagined - she will respond with moodiness. By making as safe an environment as possible, you can improve the quality moments.
Like everyone else, everything both of you has needs to be treated. I encourage both of you to look at the screening test, and to pursue the "retraining the brain" processes discussed briefly on the Website and extensively in the book.

All the informations

at the very least and puzzle
But more especially
to support peoples who suffer, sick or not. In all cases, it is ESSENTIAL
to have recourse to a therapist specialized
in the disease to confirm or to cancel a diagnosis
Though it is
the name doesn't much matter, which is important, it is to apply "the right"
treatment to each patient
