QUESTION:
Dear Dr. Heller,
I seem to go through life one day totally happy, the next, I can't
even look at myself in the mirror, I am always prepared for the worst to
happen. And I am very insecure, so much that I chase people close to me
away. I have recently found someone who completely adores me, but, I am
always second guessing his feelings, I always ask myself, "Why would he
love me?", I don't even love me. Can you help?
Yes! You'll have to go about things differently, however. As Zig Ziglar says "if you keep on doing what you've been doing, you're gonna keep on getting what you've been getting."
I would recommend that you:
a) Do the screening test ASAP, then find out about your actual diagnoses, and get them treated properly.b) Download the bottom section of the affirmations, putting your name at the top and start reading it out loud twice daily
c) Get Ziglar's How to Stay Motivated Tape Series
d) Read the books I recommended in the Retraining the Brain section, particularly "Embraced By the Light" by Betty Eadie, "Happiness is a Choice" by Barry Neil Kaufman, "Your Erroneous Zones" by Wayne Dyer, "Looking Out for Number One" by Robert Ringer and "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie.

All the informations on this site are with an aim of helping to understand a "particular" disease at the very least and puzzle
But more especially to support peoples who suffer, sick or not. In all cases, it is ESSENTIAL to have recourse to a therapist specialized in the disease to confirm or to cancel a diagnosis
Though it is the name doesn't much matter, which is important, it is to apply "the right" treatment to each patient
